Membership Drive

Ladies and gentlemen, the Missouri – City Blue Ridge Lions Club is inviting you to visit us on our website at https://www.missouricity-blueridgelionsclub.com/ to discuss your potential membership in our club. We’ve been serving the community since September 30, 1977, and our members are dedicated to serving the needs of Missouri City families. We are looking for new members to join who are dedicated to making positive changes, contributions, knowledge, and experiences that could make a difference so we would appreciate your consideration and participation in growing our membership.

Blue Ridge Lions are dedicated to seeking and doing things that foster the principles of Lionism, as suggested by our motto – “We Serve.”

LIONISM

WHO: Over 1.4 million men/women volunteer their time to humanitarian causes.
WHAT: Largest service organization in the world over (46,00) Lions Clubs
WHEN: Whenever the need exists
WHERE: Local and worldwide communities in (200 Countries)
WHY: “We Serve” The Less Fortunate

HOW: We strongly support and participate in International, State, District, and Local Community service projects. Some of these projects include Disaster Relief, Texas Lions Camp (for children with physical impairments and diabetes), Texas Eye Bank, Leader Dog for The Blind, Drug Awareness, and many more. We also provide
eyeglasses and examinations for needy children through the local schools, assist indigent families, physically impaired children, scout groups, local school projects and
award an annual scholarship for a local high school student.

The Lions of Blueridge are committed to serving the community. Therefore, when you see a Blueridge Lions Club project in progress, please support our efforts because we are working today for a better tomorrow!
